"I design things that are a pain in the ass to make," she says. After working as a stylist, painter and set designer, Pamela Love started her eponymous jewelry label in 2007. Drawing inspiration from 'nature, music and magic', she creates opulent pieces with a cool rock edge.
Despite the affordable appeal of factory production, she makes all her pieces in her New York studio, "Everything passes through my hands, and we take a lot of pride in that," she says. "It's hard and it's expensive, but it's something our customers respond to."
