ALEX PRAGER

Alex Prager, a self-taught American photographer and filmmaker who lives and works between Los Angeles and New York City.
Prager has created her own heightened dreamlike world, a psychic terrain in thrall to the fashions of 50 years ago, where an ever–present sense of threat carries dark, erotic undertones. Her fascination with the style of the late Fifties and early Sixties features women disguised in wigs, dramatic makeup, and retro attire. A California's hyperreal retro world to get lost for a long long while.

HELLO, SPRING

Some of my cravings for this spring summer. I know it's been all about pastels lately but I can't resist this trend. it's good on almost everyone! Don't you think?

I'm in some kind of weird and restless mood, maybe for the change of season that always drive my hormones like crazy, or for my new job as a freelance.. loads of work and stuff going on, so excited and a bit fearful at once.

Like her fashion pieces, which use clean lines and well-tailored details from light and luxurious materials, Vanessa Bruno's home in Paris is light, natural and sophisticated.
Pale violet, mustard and old wooden brown colours feature throughout the spaces, with awesome retro, mid-century furniture. Parisian, chic, relaxed and easy.
This is ethereal beauty. And It suits me perfectly.

GIMME SUMMER

I do not usually post swimwear campaigns but come on, look at this marvelous! the colors, the light, the textures, the place, the swimsuits, the bodys.. I love each part of this work. Based in Los Angeles, Minimale Animale brand brings a sexy edge touch providing something to make it stand out from anything else seen in swimwear before.
Designer Cassandra Kellogg teamed up with photographer Henrik Purienne to shoot these superb images for the brand. Sensuality in all it's best!
